The Barnett Approach

"Bespoke" is not a finish we apply. It's the standard every joint, cabinet and extension is measured against — before it leaves the site.

Barnett's Bespoke is a Hertfordshire practice led by Charlie Barnett — a Level 3 City & Guilds qualified joiner delivering high-end renovations, extensions, loft conversions and made-to-measure cabinetry for private clients.

The Barnett Standard

Four commitments
behind every job.

The reason clients recommend us runs deeper than finish quality. It's the process, the accountability and the accreditations behind every hour on site.

The words that matter most are the ones our clients send in unprompted.

"Charlie is a perfectionist and took his time to ensure all the doors fitted correctly. He's extremely neat and tidy, not leaving a scrap of sawdust after finishing each day. We couldn't be happier with the doors — they are fantastic. Would 100% recommend."

"Charlie's work was first rate. If there were any queries around what we could or should do, Charlie came up with great suggestions on dealing with tricky architraves and skirting. He never rushed any part of the work and kept an eye on the details which is so important. Thanks a million Charlie!"
Andrew Pearce27 January 2026
"Excellent workmanship. Pays attention to small details. Fitted 4 doors and handles for us, all fitted perfectly into surrounds which weren't perfectly square. Would highly recommend."

Are you insured?+

Yes. We carry £1,000,000 of public liability insurance. All work is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee.

Who does the work — subcontractors or your own team?+
